ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีกับพลวัตในความสัมพันธ์และความเป็นหุ้นส่วนเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ไทย-สหรัฐฯ ในช่วงที่ผ่านมา โดยเฉพาะการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ระดับสูง ความร่วมมือด้านการทหารและความมั่นคง ความร่วมมือด้านการปราบปรามการหลอกลวงออนไลน์ และพัฒนาการต่อเนื่องของการเจรจาการค้าไทย-สหรัฐฯ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือแนวทางเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือที่เป็นประโยชน์ร่วมกันเพื่อให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรม ตลอดจนความร่วมมือใหม่ ๆ อาทิ ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ ตลอดจนการอำนวยความสะดวกให้ผู้แทนทางการทูตและกงสุลของทั้งสองฝ่าย รวมทั้งได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ไทย-กัมพูชาด้วย

On 1 October 2026, Mrs. Hattaya Khusakul, Director-General of the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, met with Mr. Seth Bailey, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, U.S. Department of State, on the occasion of the latter’s visit to Thailand, accompanied by H.E. Mr. Sean Kotaro O'Neill, U.S. Ambassador to Thailand.

Both sides welcomed the positive momentum in Thai-U.S. relations and the strategic partnership, particularly in high-level interactions, defense and security cooperation, efforts to combat online scams, and the continued progress of bilateral trade negotiations. On this occasion, both sides discussed ways to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, including new areas of cooperation such as artificial intelligence, as well as facilitation for diplomatic and consular representatives of both countries. They also exchanged views on the Thailand-Cambodia situation.
