อธิบดีกรมอเมริกาและแปซิฟิกใต้หารืออัครราชทูต สถานเอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรเลียประจำประเทศไทย เกี่ยวกับแผนการดำเนินโครงการและกิจกรรมระหว่างไทยกับออสเตรเลีย

เมื่อวันที่ 18 กันยายน 2568 นางหัทยา คูสกุล อธิบดีกรมอเมริกาและแปซิฟิกใต้ ได้พบหารือกับนาย Andrew Egan อัครราชทูต สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ออสเตรเลียประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อผลักดันแผนความร่วมมือและการดำเนินกิจกรรมภายใต้กลไกทวิภาคีภายใต้ความเป็นหุ้นส่วนเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่างไทย-ออสเตรเลีย อาทิ การประชุมเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโส (Senior Officials’ Talks: SOTs) การหารือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์อินโด-แปซิฟิก (Indo-Pacific Strategic Dialogue: IPSD) และการจัดทำแผนปฏิบัติการร่วมฯ (Joint Plan of Actions: JPoA) ฉบับใหม่ให้สอดรับกับผลประโยชน์ของสองประเทศและสถานการณ์โลกในปัจจุบัน นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้หารือถึงโอกาสในการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนระดับสูง และการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือ โดยเฉพาะในด้านนวัตกรรม เศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์และการศึกษา ซึ่งมีความสนใจร่วมกันให้ขยายตัวมากขึ้นต่อไป  

Director-General of the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs met Minister and Deputy Head of Mission of Australian Embassy in Bangkok and discussed on cooperation and the upcoming projects and activities between Thailand – Australia

On 18 September 2025, Mrs. Hataya Khusakul, Director-General of the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, discussed with Mr. Andrew Egan, Minister and Deputy Head of Mission, Australian Embassy in Bangkok to advance the implementation of the of various plans and activities under the bilateral framework of the Thailand-Australia Strategic Partnership, such as the Senior Officials’ Talks (SOTs), the Indo-Pacific Strategic Dialogue (IPSD), and the development of a new Joint Plan of Action (JPoA) that aligns with the interests of both countries and the evolving global context. In addition, the two sides exchanged views on the possibility of high-level visits and the promotion of cooperation, particularly in areas of mutual interest such as the creative economy, innovation, and education, with a view to further expanding collaboration in these sectors.
