การเยี่ยมกระทรวงฯ ครั้งนี้ เป็นโอกาสเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจให้กับนักเรียน ซึ่งรวมถึงนักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยนจากต่างประเทศเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของกรมอเมริกาฯ ในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศในภูมิภาคอเมริกาและแปซิฟิกใต้

นางสาวนิโลบล พิมพ์ดี นักการทูตชำนาญการพิเศษ นายธีรกานต์ เศวตศิลา นักการทูตชำนาญการ และนางสาวกวิศรา สุกุมลจันทร์ นักการทูตชำนาญการ ได้บรรยายเกี่ยวกับบทบาทหน้าที่ของกรมฯ ภาพรวมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศในภูมิภาค แและได้แบ่งปันประสบการณ์การปฏิบัติงานทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ เพื่อสร้างแรงบันดาลใจ โดยนักเรียนได่ถามคำถามและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นที่หลากหลาย

On 9 September 2026, Ms. Waramon Waruttama, Deputy Director-General of the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs welcomed teachers and students from Hatyaiwittayalai School to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for an activity aiming to share experiences in diplomat work and the Department's role and responsibilities.

The visit to the Ministry was an opportunity for students - including foreign exchange students, to learn about the role and mission of the Ministry and the Department in fostering relations with countries in the American and South Pacific regions.

Ms. Nilobol Pimdee, Mr. Theerakarn Saversila and Ms. Kawisara Sukumolchan gave an overview of the Department's responsibilities and Thailand's relations with countries in the regions. They also shared experiences from their diplomatic careers, both in Thailand and overseas, so as to inspire the students. The students asked wide-ranging questions and exchanged views.
