เมื่อวันที่ 10 สิงหาคม 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ พบหารือกับนายพาโบล คัง เอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรเลียประจำประเทศไทย ในโอกาสที่เอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้ารับตำแหน่ง โดยได้หารือแนวทางขับเคลื่อนความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีระหว่างไทย -ออสเตรเลียที่ใกล้ชิดในฐานะหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์ การเตรียมการลงนามในแผนปฏิบัติการร่วมว่าด้วยความเป็นหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่างไทย -ออสเตรเลีย ค.ศ. 2026 - 2029 การแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนระดับสูง รวมถึงการเตรียมการฉลองครบรอบ 75 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและออสเตรเลียในปี 2570

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with Ambassador of Australia on the occasion of his assumption of duty

On 10 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Pablo Kang, Ambassador of Australia to Thailand, upon his assumption of duty, to discuss ways to further advance the close bilateral relations between Thailand and Australia as strategic partners, preparations for the signing of the Joint Plan of Action to Implement the Thailand - Australia Strategic Partnership 2026 – 2029, the exchange of high-level visits, as well as preparations for the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Thailand - Australia diplomatic relations in 2027.
